Felix Martin, an ambidextrous, Venezuelan-born guitarist who moved to America after winning a scholarship to the Berklee School of Music.
Felix is pushing music into new boundaries by mixing metal with jazz, progressive, world, latin, fusion, and more, frequently summarized as progressive metal or jazz metal.
Using his self-designed 14-string guitars, Felix opened up a new world of playing electric guitar by playing them simultaneously as one instrument and utilizing his innovative style of playing which he pioneered at the age of 13.
Felix, and his band named under his name, have shared the stage with acts such as Steve Vai, Mike Portnoy, Tesseract, Scale the Summit, Devin Townsend Project and have toured North America, South America and Europe.
In his latest effort, Felix Martin and crew launch The Human Transcription; an album based of speeches in 9 languages, transformed into instrumental music.
