Maryland/Pennsylvanian hardcore/grind unit FULL OF HELL have been making massive waves within the hardcore/grind movement over the last several years through their healthy repertoire of EPs, splits, tape releases, and of course their previous two full-length albums released on A389. The band who constantly tour like crazy and play to packed houses pretty much consistently and are known to put on one of the most intense live shows in heavy music today
With their latest full-length release, “Full Of Hell & Merzbow”, FULL OF HELL have easily delivered their most intense, punishing and obliterating release to date on their Profound Lore Records debut. By enlisting the services from none other than legendary master of noise Masami Akita (aka MERZBOW) for this new album to provide the extra layers of noise and depth to the already chaotic and brutal sound picture, “Full Of Hell & Merzbow” will serve its purpose as one of the most formidable artistic statements in extreme music this year.

NY based death metal band Artificial Brain was conceived in 2011 by Revocation guitarist Dan Gargiulo and ex-Biolich vocalist Will Smith (Biolich, coincidentally being the former band where several members would end up forming CASTEVET upon Biolich’s break-up). After conceiving a demo and a two-song EP, Artificial Brain have unleashed their devastating debut album “Labyrinth Constellation”, and album which shall be a platform for such a band to be recognized amongst the elite amongst one faction of the U.S. death metal scene. Like past bands such as Nocturnus, ARTIFICIAL BRAIN bring a sci-fi element into their brand of twisted guttural death metal. More or less thematically and aesthetically (as witnessed on their stunning album cover painted by Paolo “Madman” Girardi), the sci-fi themes that run rampant throughout ARTIFICIAL BRAIN’s music complement the complex brutality that ARTIFICIAL BRAIN offer with their brand of cosmic dissonant dark death metal.
